Beartooth Highway

You can see the ribbon of road in the valley below. That is where we came from.
This is a good shot of the valley and the winding road on the side of the hill we traveled to reach the top. It was 10,947 ft.

This tree wrapped it's roots around the rocks-just looked neat.
This is a shot down the side of the canyon wall.

One of the many lakes in the valleys that you could see on the drive.
The sign says it all.
Somewhere along the way we were in Wyoming while in Yellowstone so we add it to the map.
From the top at the fire look out station you can get a good view of the whole area around you. We saw moose up here, they stay till it starts getting cold then move to the valley's below.
One of the distant glaciers that can be seen on Beartooth Highway when you reach the top.
Another scenic view of the area.
