From the old home state to the new home state.

Our new home state -- at least for the winters.

This sign was in New Mexico, but could easily be in West Texas as well.
One of the adobe ruins on the way to Columbus.
Columbus is the border town that Pancho Villa attacked in 1916. Some of the buildings and stories of the people of that time follow.

The desert was in bloom all along the route and rather pretty.

City of Rocks is a neat park/campground.

Camping is among the rocks throughout the park.
An old adobe building back off the road. It was really neat, but we could not get close enough for a really good shot.
We saw an idea for expansion to the coach when we are tired of the travel and need more room. This is from the front and rear.

Really a good thing we were not in the coach when we found this bridge. We would have left the air conditioners behind.
A very large dust devil in the distance.

California in our rear view mirror.
A last view of the snow covered mountains near Palm Springs.

Down the road again for summer travels and the first real stop is the girls in Texas.
Prado's peacocks. The front one is a young male who does not yet have the colorful feathers. That did not stop them from displaying for the females.

Taking it out of storage to get ready for the road.
The condo sold and we are no longer housebound.
