some Washington sights/sites

The Library of Congress
The artwork in the building is all symbolic. All ceilings are done with images reflecting specific fields. They show field and the main people of that field. All sides of the ceilings and each room are done differently. From the poets to the medical fields and all the sciences, they also reflect the seasons and the stars. For more information you can go to their website. They are working with Google to put a lot of the works housed there on the Internet to be used free by all who are interested.
