The city of brotherly love starts out with a beautiful sunset.
Love is "in the air" literally based on this statue in the downtown park.
And by this bride whom I imagine has just wed.
And of course when in Philly you have to have one of the famous cheese-stake sandwiches at one of the downtown shops. This one had the line around the building waiting to purchase a great treat.
You can't be in Pa without at least one deluge of rain and we had a couple of thunderstorms. Here you can see the water flow into the drain, it was really heavy.
This wall of photos and the murals following are an attempt to brighten an otherwise fairly dilapidated area. I think we went into Philly from the wrong side of town.
We saw this rather interesting sign on one of the buildings as well. I guess you know who and where your clientele is located.
The outlying areas were really nice. This old church has a tree growing from the chimney.
The following photos are from a justice building in the middle of Philly.
The highways from NY to PA did not offer much on the sides of the roads other than trees. back here you do not want to take the smaller roads with the coach. (I don't think they have been improved since the early 1900's LOL).
