Palo Duro State Park TX

This truck was parked in the campground we stayed at in Amarillo TX.
The following are all part of the Palo Duro State Park near Amarillo. It is touted as the Texas Grand Canyon. While it is pretty and you can drive through it, I don't believe it holds a candle to the Grand Canyon in AZ.
This is the old building that housed folks who tried to settle here.
This is a replica of a dugout used by Col Charles Goodnight when he was here to settle the area.
