Canada and back

Down the road with our friends back to the USA.

             Through customs and home again 

 A few of the things we did in Canada starting with Bil's birthday.

During the thunderstorm we put the dish down. In the morning we raised it & it entangled in the wires.

Minnesota and a time to catch up with friends and family.

 You can see some interesting sculptures as you traverse this great land of ours.

 Regardless of where you are PA or MN you must be mindful to share the road.

Miles and miles of sunflowers grow across N D.

 

Arkansas, Missouri and Iowa and on to MN.

              Lots of flat farmland across Iowa.

          There are lots of old cemeteries across the south.

   So many old barns lay in ruins. At what point did someone say "it is not worth barn paint?"

         Wild flowers can still be found if there has been sufficient rain.

    This road side rest is done like Route 66 with all the same buildings as covers for the picnic tables.

                                           

         Beautiful scenery is all around for the viewing eye.      

        "KFC here we come. "Arkansas is the chicken capital of the world according to a sign we saw.

           The construction of this house is very unique.

           Some of the campgrounds have some really nice landscaping.

     Can't figure out why this tree needs a couple of mailboxes, there were no houses near.

The rain really poured off the awning. It was really coming down hard and ended with some small hail.

Don't go through a town having a parade. Unless of course it is the only road through the town.

    In all our travels this is the first live Armadillo we have seen.

      Apparently they go to great lengths to fix things at this business.

          So would you lease this building for your business?

           Sign says the road ends in 300 ft. Looks like it is across the lake as well. I'm thinking amphibious. 

     Together forever would be a good slogan for this town.

This was a neat old Civil war cemetery story and neat what later people did for them. They were all marked as unknown.
