leaving Mora on to Pine River then North Dakota & my old home town

Old buildings no longer in use-the reason towns become ghost towns.

My old school house or what is left of it. It was purchased by school mates brothers and the gym turned into an auto repair shop, now closed.side and rear of old school.
old movie house where it cost 10 cents to see the movie and you hoped the film did not break.
the only gas station in town-obviously not used in a long time.
more old buildings-this one is the Occidental building as seen by the writing on the wall.
some of the schools put the graduating years on the hillsides in white stone- they are up to the present day.

This old depot was in Detroit Lakes Minnesota.
Lilac bushes are in bloom everywhere in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Stormy skies as we left Pine River for Minot North Dakota. Yes we had some rain.
before we could leave Bil's friend Dick wanted paid for his "fish win".
