This grizzly bear was wandering and eating along side of the road.

water bladder on the ground used to fight the fires in the forest as seen in the following shots

Remi, Toni and Barb looking into Muncho Lake
one of the many bridges and rivers we crossed
historic Yukon and British Columbia dividing line
Beautiful Summit lake looks the color of the surrounding mountains
snow covered mountains at the end of Muncho Lake
Remi leading the way to Alaska
Big horned sheep that cross the road and sometimes stay for a photo op.
maps on the side of a tour van from Italy show where they have been and are going. They have logged over 100,000 miles in the last 2 years (all with only 2 tire problems)

Toni walking the dogs on one of the stops
stone sheep on the side of the mountain
rest areas are plentiful and serve for lunch stops as well as nap stops for the drivers. Beautiful areas to look at while the guys nap.
not all the folks traveling have a couch to nap on so you take your comfort where you can find it.
some of the mountains as seen across the valley
there were many hilly roads like this, some were in need of and being repaired.
The second bear we saw was wandering and eating alongside the road.
This bear was eating dandelions, we stopped for photos and it appears he may want to have lunch in Toni's coach.
The statue of the surveyor stands tall in Dawson Creek overlooking the Alcan highway.
Mile "0" of the Alcan Highway starts in Dawson Creek, B C.
