sights in/around Boston

Jackie came to visit, so we took a tour of Boston in a :Duck" and Sven was our tour guide. This was a good way for an overview of the city and to see where we would want a closer look later.

This is like the amphibious Duck we rode in. you tour the land then we went into the Charles River, it was great fun. The guide encourages you to quake at people on the street when he gives the signal. The Duck is old military vehicles from WWII. There were 40,000 made and now 30,000 are used as tour buses all over the USA.

The above two photos are of just one of the sights this is a unique expansion bridge. It is the Leonard Zueker Bridge crossing the Charles River. There are two spans like this holding up the bridge.

This is taken from on top of the bridge.
