Silverton Wall and area sights in Oregon

This is a neat little town with a lot to offer the tourist willing to walk.
Silverton Oregon has a great "Wall of Freedoms" painted by Norman Rockwell. Double click on the photos to see them better and to read the plaque.
Freedom from Want

Freedom from Fear

Freedom of Speach

Freedom to Worship

The Miller church was built in 1882 and is in great condition. It has rather unique seating as shown below.
The above plaque is on the front of the church.

The seats appear to be on a slant, but it is really the floor that is slanted so all can see the front of the church.

The cemetery also dates from 1882 to the present. It is still in use.
