January in the desert--Arizona winter trip

The guys were able to see a desert race. Boy was it dusty in town.
Our friend Dick trying to get a shot of one of the vehicles.
Robby Gordon of NASCAR and Dakar fame came in first in class and over all in the Parker 425.
Really hard to see some of the entrants.

The Moments of Freedom Walk at the London Bridge.
Toni and Remi under the London Bridge gate.
Toni by the London Bridge.
The terrain was awesome in the desert.
The Colorado River was clear and beautiful.
Grafting the old with the newer-about a 1953 International front end to the stretched rear of a Jimmy.

One of the sunrises in the Bouse area.
If the cactus is growing to tall you accommodate it by cutting holes in the roof.
Someones idea of an AZ desert camel.

A yard full of flowers in the desert, amazing.
Quail gathered at a feeding block.
Caught the roadrunner before he could take off.
The sunrises were really amazing in the desert.
Going for a nice ride in the open air. Sure beats all the ATV's and quads that were running around.
