What a sad sight, the coach in storage for the first time. We are residing in the girls condo, readying it to sell-- then we are back on the road again. Hopefully it will be quick.
The hawk is camouflaged in the tree, he was really big. This was in Prado.
The big hawk was having a bite to eat and not giving up to the onlooking vultures.
There was a fishing derby in the park while we were there. Lots of people participated. The following days were full of people trying to catch what the participants left behind.
There were a surprising amount of rabbits at Rancho considering the coyote that prowls the campgrounds all the time.
Arizona, 100 years and counting.
Amazing what a little water in the desert can do. The contrast is astonishing.

The iris' and Bird of Paridise Jackie & Lauren are leaving me to tend to as they make a new life in Texas.

Just a few of the things the girls see by car as they head for Texas. Possibly the last time by car as it is a long trip. LOL This is the badlands the other side of Riverside headed to Beaumont.
The snow covered mountains and the windmills. Texas has hills not mountains like CA.
Need a rest break. This one was near the state prison. It doesn't take one long to use the facilities.
Into Arizona and a stay in Tucson for the first night, 450 miles. It was a long day for all. We usually only go about 200 a day.

Day two we are into and through New Mexico making good time.
The means by which we moved the girls to Texas. Bil and I drove the truck towing Jackie's car and they drove Lauren's car. 
On down the road and the girls take the lead on their way to their new home state.
Into Texas for the second night. Another 450 mile day--almost there. Stopping every couple of hours to change drivers and stretch helped make the long day not so bad. This is the first time the girls have been this far from CA driving, great job girls.
More of the terrain along the way through Texas to Boerne. A 400 mile day, but we made it and everyone is still alive and talking to each other. LOL
I think Lauren like the 80 mph, even with the officer sitting alongside the road. These roads are wide open.
Passing through El Paso you can see Mexico across the Rio Grand.
Deer are everywhere around the girls new city of Boerne.
