Interesting sights and day trips around Texas

Cactus grow where ever there is dirt.

Some neat looking goats with long hair.

An old train tunnel near Fredericksburg TX

The remains of the train track bed.

The drought at Lake Medina. People use to have lake front homes.

Following are a side trip to Llano TX.

Johnson family cemetery at Johnson City TX.

Blanco TX county jail

Interesting fence with neat trees.

Someone modified this old truck to look like an 18 wheeler.

To fish or not to fish--are they biting?

Always time for critters.

A friend is helping build a new RV park in Bayside. He needed a big rig to see how it would fit.

The sites are not conducive to a rig our size w/o a lot of maneuvering.

Tree trimming was happening as we were going in. They did not realize how much room these things need.

Some of Bil's fishing buddies here and below.

Bil said this is what our rig will look like in 2030 so we decided to buy a house in Boerne.

No low riding for this guy!!!

Bil and his first fish of the season.

This & following are some shots of an old water well & windmill in Helotes TX.

Peach trees in bloom

A neat "old: farm building on one of our drives.
