Building of the "screen to" and water fun

The road to our friends house in the Adirondacks. A great week was had while in the mountains and on the lake.
The old 'lean to' is about to become just so much firewood.
The old lean to is still providing pleasure or at least warmth while the new one is being built.
The proud owners of the new "screen to' and the building process that follows to get to the completed building.

This was the tree on their property that fell and was milled for the wood of the new 'Screen to".
The lumber pile is being readied for the job.

The walls are going up and the floor is done.
The first cleaning and the building is not yet done. I think someone is excited about the new building.
One of the first inspections being done- or is it hooray the building is going up and it will have protection against bugs etc.

Eric showed us the ropes to stay on the roof while completing the roofing installation. With no where to hold on to ropes did the trick.

The walls are framed and the roof is on.
Window is installed and we are getting closer to the walls going on.

This weeks building and cheering crew with the completed screen to. There were other folks that helped in the tearing down of the old one in preparation for te new one.

While a lot of work was done, there was also time for play as shown below. Bil with his fish.
