The old table set up was a booth and the old carpet line was more squared off -note the lower photo. We needed more usable space.
We changed the carpet line to be more arced and went to a darker color with flecks of other colors.
The interim table set up used until we got to Indiana for the installation of the new one. We had an Amish gentleman build it for us.
Following is the installation/building of the table and cabinet.
The booth has been removed and so had the table in preparation for the new one.
He starts with the two end units that have the drawers and shelves.
Then he adds the front section for the two inside shelves and connecting the cabinets.
The table is added to the unit. It slides into the cabinet about 12 inches.
The trim used to cover the old holes used to hold the booth in place. The top of the cabinet is added to form the whole unit. The table is pushed in as far as it will go.
The table open showing room for the storage of the leaf inside the table. The table at it's most extended. It is about 48 inches when the leaf is used. Notice how close the chairs match. We went to an RV surplus place in Elkhart Indiana with a piece of trim and were able to match the color. Also the fabric is close in color and design of the window treatments.
