A couple of day trips around Texas.

Luckenbach or what is left of it.

This vulture was waiting for dinner alongside the road.
He maybe slow, but he made it across the road.
Engel Family who started the town of Luckenbach
Some of the neat old buildings in the surrounding Texas towns.
And of coarse the deer that are everywhere. We have a herd in the back of the park we are staying at.
One of the many dams along the way.
The wild flowers are still everywhere.
Cowboy boot fence near along one of the drives.

A stone chapel along the Guadalupe River.

A prong horn stopped to look before running away from us.

Someone was apparently raising these elk as they were behind a fence in someones field.
Now that we have Texas license and registrations, I guess all that is left is getting a herd of cattle. This is the only kind I think we can handle with our lifestyle.
La Bahia, the last part of the call "Remember the Alamo and La Bahia"

The sunset on the way home from Bayside.
The compound where Fannin's men were slaughtered.
This walking stick was on the wall near our storage facility.
The moon on a very cloudy night.
