A couple of winter trips for the housebound.

This is the lovely view from upstairs in the condo. At least we have a nice view of the San Bernardino mountains and Mount Baldy.
Mount Baldy over the neighbors old barn.
A winter day trip to the mountains. My trips are not complete without animals and flowers.

This is an old wooden sidewalk along the road up in the mountains.
Nice little water fall was discovered on a short walk.
Bil liked this sign--fortunately we had nothing to fear the day we were there.
Who would have thought you would see an old riverbed in the mountains.
This is an old castle looking building we discovered on the drive back home.
Don't damage the tree, build the road around it.
Our second trip was to Oak Glen for some wonderful apple pie. The trees are flowering, but no fruit yet.
A new business was going in and this was the mascot. You just never know what you will see on one of our drives.
From the pirate to the totem pole to the wagon below.
And of course my animal for the trip. A bear would be nice, but I'll settle for the dear.
Across the valley. This area is so pretty with wild flowers. The only ones we have seen due to the strange winter/spring we are having.
